Frequently asked questions

What is included in the Free plan?+
Free lets you create up to 3 proposals, use AI drafting, generate public share links and track when a proposal is viewed. It is designed for trying Profit Pioneer on a real project before committing.
What do Pro and Studio add?+
Both paid plans remove the 3-proposal limit. Pro adds unlimited proposals, built-in client e-signatures, client portal messaging, removable Profit Pioneer branding, win-rate analytics and reusable templates. Studio includes everything in Pro plus team seats, a shared template library and priority support.
How much do Pro and Studio cost?+
Pro is $49/mo on monthly billing or $490/yr on annual billing — about 2 months free and saves $98. Studio is $149/mo on monthly billing or $1,490/yr on annual billing — about 2 months free and saves $298. Prices are in USD and charged by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
Where is the monthly/annual toggle?+
The toggle is on the Billing page. Flip between Monthly and Annual at any time before checkout. Switching to annual locks in the discounted yearly rate and roughly two months free.
What is the annual toggle and how does the 2-month discount work?+
On the billing page you can switch between monthly and annual billing. Paying yearly gives you roughly two months free compared to twelve monthly payments. Your renewal date moves to one year from the start of the annual term.
Are upgrades prorated?+
Yes. When you upgrade, Paddle calculates the unused time on your current plan and applies it as a credit toward the new plan. You are charged only the difference for the remaining billing period and the new features are unlocked immediately.
What happens when I downgrade?+
Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current paid period. You keep the higher-tier features until that date, then move to the new plan automatically. This avoids any mid-period disruption.
Can I cancel any time?+
Yes. You can cancel from the Billing page at any time. After cancelling, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and then returns to the Free plan. You will not be charged again unless you re-subscribe.
What happens if a payment fails?+
We keep your paid features active during the dunning grace period so you are not locked out of active proposals. A warning banner appears in your dashboard and we send a notification email so you can update your payment method.
Is there a refund policy?+
Yes. If Profit Pioneer is not a fit, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge. See the Refund Policy page for full details.
Do you store my card details?+
No. All card processing is handled securely by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Profit Pioneer never sees or stores your full card number.
